Somalia: Dormant civilians
woken up by the sounds of planes
Mogadishu Monday 5 October 2009 Shaaficiyah Media

There were unidentified aircrafts which were
hovering in low altitude of Mogadishu the capital of Somalia
overnight.
The inhabitants of Huriwa and Deyniile districts
in the south of the capital have verified for Somaliweyn radio
that there were planes which have been disturbing them from
their sleep overnight.
We actually cannot say where these aircrafts
are from,but have been flaying
in lowlevel, and this will be our first time to see planes
flying in low level in our district especially during night
hours Abdinasir Khalif a resident in Huriwa district
speaking to Somaliweyn radio.
The residents of the two districts could not identify the
countries to which these aircrafts belonged to, and as well
what was their key objective in the districts, although the
two districts are fully under the control of the Islamists
factions who are greatly opposed to the Somali Transitional
Federal Government.
It was some weeks ago when American Commandos,
have killed Sala Ali Nabhan who is believed by the Americans
that he is the brain behind the attacks which were carried
on the American embassies in Nairobi and Tanzania in the year
1998.
