The chairman of the Somali Pirates Mohamed
Abdi Hassan Hayir (Afweyne) was the first time sighted at
Tripoli the Libyan capital, as reliable sources have confirmed
for Waagacusub Website.
Mr. Afweyne the Chairman of the Somali Pirates is accompanied
by two men, and his visit the Libyan capital is not disclosed,
though there some unconfirmed reports which says that the
Chairman is due to have closed door meeting with the Libyan
President Muammar Al-Qadaafi and discuss the issue of Piracy
in Somalia.
Mohamed Abdi Hassan is among the figures that are in the black
list of Somali pirates, because he is the first man who has
started piracy activity in Somali.
Mr. Afweyne who is currently a big tycoon
has business in big cities in the world such as India, Dubai,
Kenya and Somalia.
In Dubai his business is managed by his cousin
called Yolah, and in India it is managed by a man called Abdirhaman.
Afweyne has been living in Hargeisa the capital
of Somaliland for two years, and his son called Abdukadir
has been carrying out the hijacking activities.
Mr. Afweyne’s own Pirates have hijacked
Veina the Ukrainian vessel which was laden with the Military
equipments such tanks and have currently in hand another ship
called Areina at the shore of Hobyo location in Mudug region.
Among the hostages on aboard of Areina vessel
is Ukrainian woman who has aborted, and has miscarriage, with
no treatment according to the reliable sources which we are
getting from the ground.
Mohamed Gafaje the commander of Afweyne’s
pirate was wounded in a road accident when he was traveling
between Hargeiasa and Buro.
The Libyan President Muammar Al-Qadaffi has
once praised the activities of Somali pirates in African Union
meeting at the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa, and said that
they are people who are fighting against illegal trawlers
in their waters.
There are thousands of Somalis who are in
abject life in the Libyan jails, and in the past couple of
weeks the soldiers of Libya have been badly dealing with the
Somali citizens in their country, instead of receiving them
warmly since there is anarchy in their country.
Though the President of Libya makes himself
to be the first friend of Somalia, he is also counted as the
man who is igniting the pandemonium in Somalia.
Libya is country with stable economy particularly
crude oil, and whatever the President of Libya dreams of during
the night he fulfills when he wakes up.
