Somalia: Hizbul Islam confirmed that Sheikh maow has left

Hizbul-Islam which is one of the mutineer factions who are greatly oppsed aginest the legitimate government of Somalia led by President Sheikh Shariff, has officially announced that Sheikh Abdurrahman Moaw has left the faction and joined Ahlu-Sunnah Waljama a moderate Islamists faction.

“It is true that Sheikh Abdurrahman Maow has left the faction and joined Ahlu_sunnah Waljama, and before he joined that group we have instructed him to handover some of

his weapons and he had abide by the order we gave him, and now when he left the Hizbul-Islam he had few arms with him, and there is no one time we think that his leaving from the group will have effect on us” said Sheikh Farah Shuriye the newly appointed regional commissioner of Hiran region speaking to Somaliweyn radio.

Sheikh Abdurrahman Moaw was a pro government chap, and he has recently joined Hizbul-Islam, and when he has seen that he has no respect within the faction he has decided to Join Ahlu-Sunnah Waljama which is none violent faction.

It was merely yesterday when the spokesman of Ahlu-Sunnah Waljama has declared the joining of Sheikh Abdurrahman Maow to their faction.
