Mogadishu: Calm has returned to the warring
neighborhoods in the Somali capital Mogadishu, just after
heavy fighting with shelling between the Islamist fighters
and the allied troops of AMSOM and government soldiers.
At least two civilians were killed
and 10 others were wounded in yesterday's clash between the
Islamist forces and the transitional government soldiers backing
by AU troops which bitterly continued in parts of Hodan district
in Mogadishu.
Residents of the areas where
the fighting continued on Sunday afternoon told Shaaficiyah
Media they could see remains of the heavy weapons which use
by both warring sides in the capital saying that the situation
of the war zones were normal today.
The movement of the traffic between
Hawl-wadag bus-station and business activity in Bakara market
restarted normally on Monday.
Health officials said that most
of the wounded civilians in the capital were rushed and cured
in the hospital In Mogadishu.
