Somalia: concurrent twin suicide attacks on AMISOM

Reliable reports which Somaliweyn radio is receiving from Adan Ade international airport says that suicide attack has on Thursday morning at around 11:30 local time taken place at Africa union garrison just beside the airport.

“The cars which have carried out the suicide attacks were two and they had the United Nations symbol printed on their windows, and when they were coming towards the guard post we never thought that they were harmful, and intending to carryout secede attacks, they came in high speed and blew themselves up, the attacks had merely a difference of a blink of an eye so fat I have seen 2 of my fellow soldier dead and 5 others wounded” said a Ugandan Soldier speaking to Somaliweyn radio in a condition of anonymity.

After the twin suicide attacks the Ugandan soldiers opened hell of fire in the surrounding areas, and so far the casualties of the fire they have opened is not apparent.

This will be the second suicide attack carried on the Ugandan troops who are in Mogadishu as part of African Union peacekeepers in Somalia, despite there has been previous suicide attack carried on the Burundian troops which 11 Burundian soldiers were killed.
